The refinishing process involves a truck load of equipment and materials to complete the job in a professional & safe manner. The preparation of the surfaces usually takes several hours or more to complete and involves mechanical sanding, very powerful stripping agents and cleaning chemicals to do the job properly. During the preparation process, there may be toxic sanding dust or stripper fumes that must be exhausted out to the exterior of the property. Most professional resurfacing contractors will provide you with a written warranty of at least one year.
